Psychic Chlorophyll develops an inquiry into consciousness as a self-reflective field. The work positions the screen as a site where perception observes its own formation, and where light green functions as an inner pigment of awareness — a “psychic chlorophyll” that marks the growth of living thought.

Fractal structures organize the image as a mandala of multiplicity and unity, echoing the mind’s capacity to hold many layers of experience at once. The contrast between the dark interior and the trees beyond the screen situates the piece between the unconscious and the world soul, using technological imagery to chart the movement between them.

Death Masks began as a series of painted portraits—faces rendered in paint, photographed, scanned, and re-layered through digital methods. I painted on the prints, re-scanned them, and repeated the process until the boundary between human and machine disappeared. The resulting images are haunting: digital apparitions that simulate life.
